The Model S2 was a fairly popular bat in the 1960’s and 70’s. It was used for many years by Major League Baseball’s all time hits leader Pete Rose. With a small conventional knob, .95” diameter handle and 2.42” diameter barrel, we revived the S2 because it utilizes the densest wood we use for game bats. This is a great model for the skilled hitter looking for a little more pop out of their bat.
